How To Make Sangria 4 Ways, in Seconds
Is there any more festive, fun way to enjoy wine than in a fresh, fruity Sangria?
I don’t think so! But, hop onto Pinterest and type ‘Sangria recipes’ in the search box, and things get… complicated. Every recipe is calling for different syrups and nectars and juices (oh my!). Why can’t there be one recipe that would be quick and easy to customize to your favorite wine style?
Well, I’m thrilled to announce that now there is! I’ve teamed up with Cocktail Artist to bring you a Sangria Mix that can turn any wine you have around the house into a perfectly balanced Sangria in seconds. The mix is free from high fructose corn syrup, chemicals, artificial flavors and coloring- we’re talking about fresh fruit juices and a bit of pure cane sugar that we’ve specially engineered to mix seamlessly with wine. What could be easier?
I’ve created 4 ways to use the mix in one simple formula:
Step 1: Cut up the fruit of your choice and place in a glass
Step 2: Add 1 oz of your desired spirit
Step 3: Add 2 oz of Cocktail Artist Premium Sangria Wine Mix (check the link to find a store near you!)
Step 4: Add 4 oz wine (that’s a half cup if you’re using a liquid measuring cup)
Steph 5: Add ice & enjoy!
My 4 different spins on the formula are below! Happy mixing— and don’t forget to post your creations on Instagram and tag The Lush Life so we can see all your amazing work!
Cucumber Watermelon Sparkling Sangria
To make it:
Start with slices of cucumber, chunks of watermelon, and a few lime wheels in a 12-oz mason jar
Add 1 oz Vodka
Add 2 oz Cocktail Artist Premium Sangria Wine Mix
Top with 4 oz of Prosecco
Let it marinate in the fridge! When you’re ready to serve it, add ice and a straw
Tropical White Sangria
To make it:
Start with diced fresh peach, mango, watermelon, and mint leaves in a 12-oz mason jar
Add 1 oz Rum
Add 2 oz Cocktail Artist Premium Sangria Wine Mix
Top with 4 oz of White Wine (I recommend Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Albarino, Pinot Grigio, or other light, fruity, aromatic whites)
Let it marinate in the fridge! When you’re ready to serve it, add ice and a straw
Strawberry Basil Rosé Sangria
To make it:
Start with sliced strawberries and a few basil leaves in a 12-oz mason jar
Add 1 oz Gin (we are playing up the botanical element of the basil!)
Add 2 oz Cocktail Artist Premium Sangria Wine Mix
Top with 4 oz of Rosé wine (any rosé will work; if you like a sweeter drink pick a sweeter rosé)
Let it marinate in the fridge! When you’re ready to serve it, add ice and a straw
Classic Red Sangria
To make it:
Start with diced apple and orange (with the peel on) in a 12-oz mason jar
Add 1 oz brandy
Add 2 oz Cocktail Artist Premium Sangria Wine Mix
Top with 4 oz of red wine (a fruity red like Garnacha, Pinot Noir, or Malbec will be perfect)
Let it marinate in the fridge! When you’re ready to serve it, add ice and a straw
